Test your Shopify pages properly, for free

Appal splits your storefront traffic between two real theme templates and tells you which one sells more. No page builder, no script that rewrites the page after it loads, no flicker. You duplicate a template, edit the copy, and Appal handles the rest.

How it works

Visitors are assigned once and stay on the same version. Appal counts the visit, then reads the order webhook to see which version produced the sale. You get conversion rate, revenue per visitor and average order value side by side, with the probability that the challenger genuinely beats the control rather than winning on noise.

What you can test

Home, product, collection and any other JSON template in your live theme. Split traffic across up to five versions, target mobile or desktop, or skip the split entirely and use personalization to serve one version to a specific audience.

Getting started

Install Appal from the Shopify App Store. It opens straight to your tests inside the Shopify admin, and there is no separate account to create.
